About Bethany

Bethany Fessenden is a licensed massage therapist with over a decade of experience supporting individuals through every stage of life. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from The University of Findlay in 2006 and completed her massage therapy certification at Blanchard Valley Academy of Massage Therapy in 2010. She has held licensure in Ohio since 2011 and has held Colorado licensure since 2025.

Bethany began her massage career in a fitness center setting, working with student athletes, weightlifters, and a diverse range of clients. In 2012, she co-founded Integrated Massage and Bodywork, where she spent 13 years specializing in pregnancy and postpartum massage, infant massage, cupping, Thai massage, and craniosacral therapy for all ages.

Her craniosacral training includes extensive study in intraoral techniques and a special focus on infant care. She works closely with lactation consultants, midwives, pediatric dentists, and chiropractors to support infants before and after oral frenectomy procedures. In addition to her clinical practice, Bethany also serves as a teaching assistant in craniosacral therapy, helping to guide and mentor students in this gentle and profound modality.

A passionate educator, Bethany has taught pregnancy massage workshops for massage therapy students at Blanchard Valley Academy for over 14 years. In 2015, she became a certified birth doula through toLabor and continues to collaborate with birth professionals, even though she is no longer practicing as a doula. She has also contributed to the academic community as a peer review coordinator for the Journal of Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology and Health.

Bethany is committed to providing inclusive, affirming care to people of all ages, races, and genders. She believes in creating safe, nurturing spaces where every client feels supported, respected, and empowered in their healing journey.
